Migrated to Canada two years ago, an Afghan painter, drawer, and delicate poet, Oman Nizai, has not yet found a proper market for his artworks in the diverse society of this country.
Although he has kept his hopes alive and is striving to do more for the art lovers, he is concerned about the lack of communication and coordination between Afghan artists in Canada and the absence of an Afghan cultural community in Toronto is also a big gap.
Wesal TV held an interview with Oman Nizai and Dr Yar Mohammad Taraki, the former head of the Cultural and Artistic Association of Refugees (iART) in Hamilton, Canada, and spoke about art and painting.
