In this Episode of “Successful Celebrities Program”, Ershad Ahmad Hamid, head of several restaurants, including the “die Neue Bühne” Restaurant in Berlin, Germany, is our guest.
Hamid was born in 1988 in Kabul Province to an intellectual family but was forced to leave Afghanistan with his family due to civil wars and has now been living in Germany for more than 20 years.
Hamid is the eldest of six siblings and married a German girl in 2019 and is the father of two daughters.
He began his professional career by working in restaurants as a hostess. With great effort and perseverance, he succeeded in opening his first restaurant in Berlin, Germany, in 2019, called the “die Neue Bühne” Restaurant.
This restaurant, with its different design and cozy atmosphere, mainly hosts German guests, and has an additional capacity of one hundred guests at a time, serving German cuisine.
With the success of his first restaurant, Ershad decided to expand his business, opening his second restaurant, “Strandidyll Berkenbrück”, in 2023, and his third restaurant, “Kaiser Stuben”, in 2024.
Hamid has provided employment for more than 20 Afghans and non-Afghans with these restaurants. Hamid is an example of someone who, with determination, turned his dreams into reality and served the community at the same time.
