An Afghan journalist working for Azadi Radio has been injured by unknown gunmen in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, media reports said on Thursday.
Ahmad Hanayish, who also works as director of Dunya and Kahkashan radio stations, came under attack before dawn.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, a relative of the journalist told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident occurred around midnight on G-6 Embassy Road.
