Afghanistan have edged past Australia 5-4 in their second match at the National Sports Development Fund (NSDF) Futsal Championship in Thailand.
The Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF) wrote on its Facebook page Afghanistan took a commanding lead with four goals in the first half, while Australia managed to score once.
However, Australia rallied in the second half, netting three goals. Afghanistan secured a win with a fifth goal in the dying moments of the game.
Futsal teams from Australia, Afghanistan, Malaysia and Thailand are participating in the event.
On Sunday, the Afghanistan-Malaysia match had ended in a tame 3-3 draw.
