In Toronto, Afghan network for Social Services (ANSS) hosted a special ceremony to mark the 106th anniversary of regaining Afghanistan’s independence.
The event was attended by a large number of Afghans, and following the speeches, several distinguished Afghan professionals were honored with awards.
In the second part of the program, the renowned Afghan singer Shapery Naghma performed national and patriotic songs in celebration of Independence Day, which were warmly received with traditional Attan dances and enthusiastic applause from the audience.
The ceremony and concert were broadcast live through Wesal TV’s YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok, bringing together thousands of viewers from around the world to celebrate Afghanistan’s Independence Day with joy and festivity.
