Afghanistan national cricket team has arrived in Lahore, the capital of Pakistan’s Punjab province, to participate in the Asia Cup.
The Pakistan Cricket Board wrote on its Facebook page today that Afghanistan’s national cricket team arrived in Lahore for the Asia Cup.
The Asia Cup featuring six teams will start on August 30 and will continue until September 17.
Afghanistan are in group B with Bangladesh and Sari Lanka. India, Pakistan, Nepal are in Group A.
Afghanistan, who lost an ODI series to Pakistan recently, will start their campaign against Bangladesh on September 3.
The Asia Cup is being held in Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
Karim Jannat, Najibullah Zadran and left-arm spin bowling all-rounder Sharafuddin Ashraf have made a comeback to the side for the Asia Cup.
