Dr. Noor Alam Fareed, the former chairman of the Afghanistan Cricket Board’s Amu Zone, has expressed confidence that the Afghanistan national cricket team is fully prepared for the 2025 Champions Trophy.
The 2025 Champions Trophy, featuring eight teams, including Afghanistan, kicked off today in Pakistan and will run for 19 days.
This marks Afghanistan’s first-ever participation in the tournament.
In an exclusive interview with Wesal TV, Dr. Noor Alam Fareed said that the Afghan national team has been consistent throughout the previous year, undergoing rigorous training and preparation, and is now fully ready for the upcoming Champions Trophy.
Afghanistan’s national cricket team is set to play its first match against South Africa on February 21 in Karachi, Pakistan.
