For the past three years, a religious education centre has been established in Ottawa, the capital of Canada, dedicated to Afghan children. The centre focuses on teaching the Holy Quran, the Afghan mother tongue, and the national and cultural values of Afghanistan.
This centre plays a crucial role in the religious and cultural development of Afghan children, helping them stay connected with their religion, history, and culture, while also preserving their mother tongue.
In addition to its educational mission, the centre organizes large-scale entertainment programs for students and their families twice a year. These events provide an opportunity for children to play, have fun, and freely converse in their mother tongue. The programs are designed to foster joy and strengthen social connections among the children.
Wasal TV reporter Ehsan Kamal attended one of these entertainment programs and spoke with the children and members of the centre.
