At least four people have been killed and several others wounded in Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon, a media report said on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters has warned Israel to expect a “strong response” if it does not halt its attacks.
The Secretariat of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council announced on 15 June that the text of a memorandum of understanding on negotiations aimed at ending the war between Iran and the United States had been finalised.
The secretariat said that under the agreement, war and military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon, would end immediately and permanently, and the naval blockade against Iran would be fully lifted.
Reuters reported that Israeli strikes on Lebanon were carried out by drones on Tuesday.
It said Israeli drones targeted three vehicles in southern Lebanon, killing four people and injuring several others.
The report added that the first drone strike hit a vehicle in the village of Meifadoun, killing two people. A second strike then targeted people who had gathered at the scene, killing two more.
