At least four Pakistani soldiers have been killed and three others wounded when their vehicle struck an improvised explosive device in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, media reports said on Saturday.
The IED explosion took place in the Janikhel area of Bannu district on Friday, the BBC reported. Four Pakistani soldiers lost their lives and three others were injured in the incident.
Some media outlets quoted local officials as saying three vehicles of security forces went patrolling the area when the explosion occurred.
The injured were evacuated to hospital for medical treatment, but officials did not provide details about their health condition.
