Afghan taekwondo player Rohullah Nikpai has been appointed as coach of New Zealand’s national taekwondo team.
Tamim Hotak, deputy director of referees committee of taekwondo federation, confirmed the development.
He said Nikpai currently held no job in the federation, but previously he coached the junior national taekwondo team.
Nikpai has won two medals for Afghanistan in Olympic Games.
