The Afghan Canadian Organisation (ACO) on May 28th performed oath taking ceremony and officially started work. The ACO which is an apolitical and a civilian organisation elected Mohammad Ehsa Zia its head and another 14 persons as the members of its leadership board, its purpose is to address the problems faced by the Afghan community.
The ACO is committed to ensure that through unity and fruitful cooperation Afghan community in Canada shall live in unity and love and cooperate with each other through shared experiences and available resources. The organisation goal is to become an active and strong foundation in the future to serve Afghan community and its future generations in Canada.
