In Toronto, Canada, an Afghan businessman launched a radio station named Pul. Alongside it, a media group under the same name and a wedding hall called Nina were also inaugurated.
The Pul Radio, Pul Media Group and Nina Wedding Hall, founded through the initiative and investment of Afghan businessman Allah Mohammad Kakar, were officially opened during a ceremony attended by members of various Afghan communities, cultural figures, artists, and businesspeople.
Founder of the Pul Radio Mr. Kakar told Wesal TV that Pul Radio will offer live and recorded broadcasts covering political, cultural, scientific, and academic topics online. In addition, activities in other media and print sectors have already begun.
He explained that this initiative was intended to promote unity among Afghans. Regarding the wedding hall, Kakar emphasized that it is not just a business venture but also a cultural center, where Afghan national cultural and traditional events will be hosted free of charge.
