In one of Canada’s most significant media gatherings, World Press Freedom Day was commemorated in the city of Toronto with the broad participation of journalists, university professors, and media activists from Afghanistan and Canada.
The event was organized by the Free Speech Centre, aiming to highlight the challenges, threats, and the urgent need for global support for press freedom—especially in Afghanistan.
