Dr. Yar Mohammad Tarakai, who has a doctorate in engineering and has written hundreds of scientific articles, when he gets tired of multifaced nature of humans, then he turns to his art and painting.
Two decades ago, Tarakai founded the Refugee Cultural and Artistic Association (iART) in Hamilton, Canada, providing art education and development programs to refugee painters and other art lovers.
Abdul Basit Karokhel held an interview with Dr Tarakai. He says that painting is an art that clearly shows different historical periods and historical events. Also, painting leads to unity of society.
