Marzia Hamidi, 20, is an Afghan national born in Iran, she was born in 2002 in Iran and completed her school in Iran as well. She started Taekwondo sport at the age of 15 in Iran, first she was encouraged by her friends and then by her family to continue doing Taekwondo sport.
She returned to Afghanistan in 2020 and became part of the Afghan national Taekwondo team. But as a result of regime change in Afghanistan she was migrated and currently lives in France capital Paris. Ms. Hamidi is preparing for Olympic Games 2024 and she is working hard for her dreams to come true. As part of Afghanistan national Taekwondo team, she won five gold medals, one silver and browns each in her competitions held in Iran and Afghanistan.
