To continue the introduction of successful Afghan figures, we would like introduce another successful Afghan figure who lives in Canada. She is Makai Aref, Aref was born in 1951 in enlightened family in Kandahar province, and lived the days of her childhood and teens period of her life in Kabul city.
She completed her school in Zarghona high school, then followed her educations in physics department at teacher’s institute and then gained her bachelor’s degree in 1974 at Educational University of Kabul and was appointed as a teacher.
Makai Aref then served as a teacher in Ayesha Durani, Afshar, Zarghona Ana and Sultan Razia high schools and was hired as deputy and director at educational field.
