When the immigration NGOs stop support to the newly arriving families then they have the option to get homes for themselves and they have the right to choose the place and the house because they themselves pay the rent.

In the lease contract the house owner is called Landlord and the customer is called Tenant.

Rent Period:

The rent contract will make it clear the duration of your stay in your apartment, usually the lease contract is for one year and your rent documents would identify the time when you have to leave the house. During the one year contract the customer should pay rent each month and it would identify that when you have to inform the house owner about leaving the rented apartment or house or you want to renew the contract. This usually happen 90 days or 30 days before the lease contract end.

Violating the contract rules may cause your eviction such is if it is written not to keep pets in the house and you violet the rule, if there is certain number of people who should live in the house and you violate this rules. If you get warning letter then act immediately to resolve the issue.

If you cannot find help during direct meeting with the house owner then seek legal support, the resettlement authority can refer you to local authorities and you can get free of cost legal support.

Being a responsible house renter you also have rights, nobody could force you to vacate when you pay your rent in line with the rent contract.
