Two Afghan nationals have lost their lives in a road accident the Mansehra district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
A dozen other people were wounded on Friday when a car collided head-on with a passenger van on the Hazara Expressway.
The car carrying an Afghan family to Dodial from College Doraha area rammed into a passenger van, injuring 14 people.
Rescue official Amir Khadam said ambulances shifted the injured to the King Abdullah Teaching Hospital, where doctors pronounced two Afghans — Zor Wali Khan and Ali Khan — dead.
The victims’ bodies were handed over to relatives on the completion of medico-legal formalities at the hospital. Police have launched an investigation.
