One person was killed and 12 others were wounded in a helicopter crush in the capital of western Ghor province on Wednesday, said the Ministry of Defence (MoD).
Enayatullah Khwarzami, spokesman for MoD, wrote on his X page the Afghan Air Force (AAF) helicopter (Mi-17) crashed in Ferozkoh today.
He said the chopper, which was engaged in recovering bodies from Harirud river, made an emergency landing due to a technical fault.
According to him, as result, one individual on board was killed and 12 others were injured. He did not reveal identities of the victims.
