A resident of western Herat province has made a restaurant car using his own money. He says he can also make city buses and high-speed passenger vehicles if supported.
Murtaza, the inventor of the restaurant car, said that the car was used as a mobile restaurant and all related facilities were available inside it.
According to him, the vehicle took six months to complete at a cost of more than 500,000 afghanis.
“This car has been converted into a restaurant which has all facilities of a restaurant such as internet, bathroom, toilet and other restaurant equipment,” he added.
He said: “We can manufacture city buses and high-speed passenger cars in a basic form with Internet and IC equipment to make it easier for citizens.”
Officials of the Chamber of Industries and Mines of Herat province said investors and industrialists should be supported to use the talents of young people.
Hamidullah Khadim, director of chamber of commerce and investment, said that working conditions in the country had improved and now was the time for investors and businessmen to return to the country to invest in the talents of the youth and produce everything in the country.
According to Khadim, supporting talents will make the country stand on its own feet in every aspect, and the country’s self-sufficiency is related to the efforts of the youth, professional and trained cadres, and also the government’s timely support.
Maulana NaeemulHaq Haqqani, director of information and culture, says: “We are trying to identify and support hidden talents so that they can build more advanced devices with support of the government.”
According to him, the local administration is trying to return the ancient city of Herat to its golden age by supporting talents.
