Lately, after the murder and injuring of three Shiite clerics in Mashhad city of Iran by the of alleged hands of an Afghan migrant, the incident according to unconfirmed reports have drew a new wave of violence and misbehavior against Afghan immigrants living in that country; which was widely reflected in social media and faced strong national and international reactions in the virtual world.

The immigration of the people of Afghanistan, due to economic, political, religious reasons has a history of half century and is considered one of the most problematic immigration issues in the world, currently about five million of immigrants live in Iran, while 600,000 of them live on family and education visas, 2.5 million of migrants are registered and over two million more migrants in that country sans all types of legal documents.

Afghan civilians in Iran, during the past few decades faced different types of discriminatory confrontations and severe physical and psychological violence, such treatment is globally considered one of the most shocking cases of dealing with refugees, this treatment and misbehaviour has always been criticized by the defenders of the rights of immigrants worldwide.

Such inhuman and far away from humanity treatment is always conducted by the forces of law enforcement and other police forces of Akhund regime of Iran and their other ideologic supporters, this inhumane treatment contains action like:

Illegal deportation:

The multiple forcibly deportation cases of Afghan migrants is contrary to the article 32 of the convention of immigration of 1951, according to the value and explicitness the article the deportation of refugees; to the country of origin is prohibited; which has already happened; according to the recent statement of the officials of the de facto government of Islamic Emirate in Kabul; during the past week, about 15,000 Afghan migrants have been forcibly deported to their country from Iran, while the government of Islamic Republic of Iran is a member of the refugee convention and the optional protocol of 1967.

Torture and persecution:

According to the article 31st of the convention of 1951 of about the refugees, all types of torture and persecution of the refugees is prohibited, while the security police of Iran have never given up from the torture and persecution of Afghan refugees and complied even in public places, the treatment of Iranian authorities, after the incident of Mashhad is a good example of such assertion.

Illegally putting on trial and punishment:

During the past consecutive years dozens even, hundreds have been illegally and even without minimum fair trial standards hundreds of Afghan refugees have been put on trial and punished including their execution by the Iranian judicial authorities.

Lack of properties’ protection of refugees

It was reported many times that Iranian security organs have violated the privacy of Afghan immigrants, violated their moveable and immoveable properties, such actions are clearly against the convention of the refugees, the article number 12 has mentioned the least of possible rights facilities of the refuges.

Appointment in security forces:

During the past consecutive years, most of the Afghan refugees were recruited due to their religious beliefs by the government of Islamic Republic of Iran during the war of Iran-Iraq in 1980s, they were sent to the front line of Iraq war and after 2014 about 5,000 of Afghan refugees were sent to Syria in Fatemiyoun army organization to fight for the government of Syria which has firm ties with a terrorist group of Hezbollah.

Deprivation from the right of education:

According to the provisions of international documents, refugees must have the right of access to educations, such document show that the children of Afghan refugees not only did not have the right to study but they were hired in heavy laboured jobs while they were paid low wages and even faced persecution. What is expected, the inhuman acts by the authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran will the friendly treatment of the Iranian nation that over the years; have done with Afghan immigrants; will raise questions.

Such religious hatred acts, when sometimes are originated from the religious characteristics of the Islamic Republic of Iran will be strengthened (Islamic Republic of Iran is known as the origin of such hatred in the Islamic world) among the Muslims and they can pave the way for further influence of other extremist factors such as al-Qaida and Daesh and this act of violence and wrongdoing by the authorities of the Islamic Republic is a new page of crimes against humanity, such acts will be registered more wildly on international level.
