The head of the Islamic Emirate’s political office in Doha and a British diplomat have discussed bilateral ties, economic projects and the expulsion of Afghan refugees from Pakistan.
Sohail Shaheen announced his meeting with Robert C Dickson, the UK charge d’affaires to Afghanistan, on his X handle on Sunday night.
They discussed bilateral ties, economic projects, mass deportations of Afghan migrants from Pakistan, interaction with the international community and other topics.
Shaheen also wrote the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) condemned the Israeli airstrikes on Gaza, and the killing of innocent children and women in the embattled Palestinian enclave.
While asking the Israeli forces to leave Gaza as soon as possible, the diplomat stressed the need for a peaceful solution to the Middle East problem.
Earlier, Shaheen had discussed the importance of engagement, humanitarian assistance and other issues in a meeting with the British charge d’affaires.
