Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to meet US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), a media report said on Tuesday.
Shehbaz Sharif is likely to hold a meeting with United States President Donald Trump on September 25, Geo News reported, citing sources.
Quoting insiders, the report said that the meeting, expected on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, will also be attended by Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir.
The huddle — taking place with the consultation, support, and endorsement of Qatar and Saudi Arabia — will, according to sources, have a wide-ranging agenda from floods in Pakistan to the repercussions of the Israeli attack on Qatar.
Pakistan-India situation is also likely to be discussed during the high-level meeting, the sources added.
