In a special ceremony held in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, the life and efforts of Ms. Shinkai Karokhail, former Member of Afghanistan’s Wolesi Jirga and former Ambassador of Afghanistan to Canada, were honored.
The event was attended by numerous prominent figures of the Afghan community, including former members of parliament, former government ministers, political and social activists, media representatives, and members of civil society organizations.
During the ceremony, a documentary about Shinkai Karokhail’s life and political struggle was screened, offering a deep insight into her efforts, services, and international diplomatic role.
Afterwards, speakers shared their views and assessments on Ms. Karokhail’s struggle, character, and achievements.
