Security forces have arrested 37 more Afghan migrants in the Çanakkale city of Turkey, a media report said on Monday.
Anadolu news agency reported the Turkish law-enforcement personnel had identified and detained the illegal Afghan migrants in Ayvalik area.
It said the detainees included 11 women, 16 children, 10 men. Three boats carrying illegal immigrants were taken to the parking area. The migrants were handed over to the immigration office of Ayvalik.
Last week, Turkish security forces arrested 140 illegal asylum seekers, including Afghan citizens, in Edirne and Çanakkale cities of the country.
