At least 27 people have been killed and 88 others injured after a Bangladesh Air Force jet crashed into a college and school campus in Dhaka, media reports said on Tuesday.
The F-7 BGI aircraft crashed shortly after taking off at 1:06 p.m. (0706 GMT) on Monday from the Kurmitola airbase in the capital during a routine training mission. The military stated that the plane suffered a mechanical failure, Reuters reported.
