Afghanistan have outplayed Iran by 2-1 in their third game of the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) U-17 Championship.
The Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF) said the tournament was underway in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan.
Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Iran are participating in the event.
Afghanistan stayed ahead 1-0 in the first half. In the second, each side scored one goal and the national squad won by 2-1.
Earlier, Afghanistan defeated Kyrgyzstan but were beaten by the hosts, Tajikistan.
