Thousands of kilometers away from Afghanistan, a new office of the Paiwastoon community has opened in Toronto, Canada, to address the challenges faced by Afghans and to support their social integration. The opening ceremony was attended by cultural and social figures as well as members of the Canadian Parliament.
The Paiwastoon community, which has served the community for nearly three decades by organizing weddings, funerals, and repatriation of bodies, has now expanded its services to actively assist with social issues.
This office will serve as a service hub for Afghan refugees, helping them with documents, forms, and essential administrative needs.
