In Canada, a mosque named “Subhan,” which was once a church, has now become a center for Afghan prayers and religious education. Many Afghans visit this mosque, not only to perform prayers but also to study the Quran and other religious sciences.
During this blessed month of Ramadan, we visited the mosque and spoke with its administrators and Afghan worshipers.
We explored how Afghans break their fast here, the differences between fasting in Afghanistan and Canada, and how they express their unity in this space. All of this will be shared with you in this program.
