A number of women rights activists and civil activists gathered in Toronto on the eve of the August 15, the day the previous government collapsed and the Taliban took over Afghanistan.
With a large presence, the protestors chanted slogans against the polices of the Taliban, especially the difficult situation of Afghan women.
The changed “work, education, freedom” and criticized the Taliban’s systematic restrictions on women.
On the other hand, these protestors in the resolution asked the government of Canada and the international community to avoid interaction with the Taliban and this group should not be recognized.
According to reports, after the Taliban came to power, this group deprived women of their basic rights and privileges in various ways through consecutive orders.
