A security guard was killed, and a UN employee was wounded a shooting incident inside the UN office in Kabul.
The incident occurred inside the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) office on Sunday evening.
Reuters, citing the UNAMA office, reported that the shooting left one individual dead and another wounded.
Abdul Mateen Qani, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior, confirmed the incident to Pajhwok.
He said the UNAMA employee was slightly injured and a Mujahid (security personnel) was martyred.”
He also said that the ministry had launched an investigation into the incident.
