The Afghanistan Football Federation says the draw for the Under-17 Asian Cup football teams was held yesterday and Afghanistan were drawn with Yemen, South Korea and Indonesia in Group C.
On its X handle, AFF wrote the draw for the AFC U-17 Asian Cup was held, with Afghan team drawn in Group C alongside Yemen, South Korea, and Indonesia.
Additionally, in Group A, Saudi Arabia will play against Uzbekistan, Thailand, and China, in Group B, Japan will play with Australia, Vietnam, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and in Group D, Iran will play against Tajikistan, Oman, and North Korea.
This competition is a golden opportunity for Afghanistan’s young football players to shine, AFF wrote.
It said the Under-17 Asian Cup is scheduled to begin from April 3 to 20, hosted by Saudi Arabia.
