The Iranian government has executed at least eight convicts, including two Afghans, the Norway-based Iran Human Rights announced on Saturday.
IHR said in a statement the prisoners had been sentenced to death on various charges, including “waging war against God,” “rape,” and “premeditated murder”.
Two Afghan nationals, who had been sentenced to death for “rape”, were executed in Ghezelhesar prison.
Last week, Iran had executed at least 14 people, including two Afghan nationals..
