This time, our guest on the “Successful Faces” programme is Senator Golalei Mamozei from Bonn, Germany. Gulalai was born in Narkh district of Maidan Wardak province and, at the age of ten, moved to Germany with her family in 1990. She currently resides in Bonn.
She completed her primary education in Bonn and later earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Bonn University.
Mamozei owns five kindergartens and two schools under the name “Education for All” and is also the head of the “Bildung für alle e. V.” organization.
In addition, she fights for women’s rights and actively participates in social work. As she states, “I work for women’s rights and support; it brings me great joy to work with children and help in the development and advancement of their personalities.”
Golalei Mamozei is currently busy writing a book about her life and actions, which, once completed, will inspire other Afghan women to achieve success in their lives and businesses.
Although she aims to provide online educational opportunities for girls in Afghanistan, she mentions that the Taliban have not allowed her to work on-site for girls’ education in the country.
