The tenth edition of the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2024 is all set to kick off today (Saturday) in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
Twenty four teams, participating in tournament, have been divided into six groups. Uzbekistan, the Netherlands, Paraguay and Costa Rica are in Group A while Brazil, Cuba, Croatia and Thailand are placed in Group B.
Afghanistan are placed in Group C along with Argentina Ukraine and Angola. Spain, Kazakhstan, New Zealand and Libya are in Group D.
Portugal, Panama, Tajikistan, Morocco are in Group E, with Iran, Venezuela, Guatemala and France constituting Group F.
Croatia will take on Thailand at Bukhara Universal Sports Complex on the opening day of the World Cup. Afghanistan will begin their campaign against Angola tomorrow (Sunday).
The tournament will take place across three host cities: Tashkent, Andijan and Bukhara.
