Amnesty International (AI) has slammed the deportation of Afghans from Germany as a breach of international law.
On Friday, Germany deported 28 Afghan nationals to their homeland, labelling the ndividuals as convicted criminals. However, the German government did not provide specific details of their offences.
AI wrote on X: “The deportation flight from #Germany to #Afghanistan breaches international law. Nobody should be returned to Afghanistan.”
Interim government officials have not yet commented on the resumption of Afghan nationals’ deportation from Germany.
