The Russian President has ordered a suspension of attacks by Russian forces on all fronts of the war with Ukraine on the occasion of Easter. In response, Volodymyr Zelensky also announced a similar measure, emphasizing that people need “an Easter without threats.”
According to the TASS news agency, Vladimir Putin stated that he has ordered his forces to halt attacks across all fronts of the war with Ukraine for the Easter period, while also instructing them to remain prepared for possible attacks.
He added that this ceasefire will be in effect from 4:00 p.m. on April 11 to 1:00 a.m. on April 12, Moscow time.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that his country will also implement similar measures.
He stated that “people need an Easter without threats.”
