Iran has banned the export of all food and agricultural products until further notice, citing the need to prioritise domestic supply amid ongoing economic pressures.
Tasnim News Agency reported: “In line with the government’s decision to prioritise the provision of basic, sensitive and essential goods required by the people under the current conditions in the country, the export of all food and agricultural products has been banned until further notice.”
The statement added that the government has focused on ensuring the population’s access to essential goods by prohibiting the export of food products.
