Russia’s Special envoy to Afghanistan has called on Afghanistan and Pakistan to pursue a diplomatic solution.
Zamir Kabulov, Russia’s envoy to Afghanistan and advisor to the Foreign Minister, told RIA Novosti that both countries should end reciprocal attacks and seek a diplomatic resolution to their tensions.
He added: “We support the swift end of reciprocal attacks and a diplomatic solution to their disputes.”
Meanwhile, Seyed Abbas Araqchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, also urged Afghanistan and Pakistan to manage and resolve their differences through good-neighborly relations and dialogue.
Araqchi emphasized dialogue as the path to resolution and stated that Tehran is ready to facilitate talks and strengthen understanding and cooperation between the two countries.
