Three people were killed in a traffic accident on the Kabul–Kandahar highway in Maqur district, southern Ghazni province.
Abu Khalid Sarhadi, spokesperson for the Ghazni Police, told Pajhwok that the incident occurred this morning (Wednesday) in the “Bazko” area of Maqur district, when a cargo truck collided with a passenger bus.
He added that three people lost their lives in the crash.
Following the incident, security forces in Maqur district promptly arrived at the scene and transferred the victims’ bodies to the Maqur district hospital.
Sarhadi urged all drivers to strictly follow traffic laws and exercise caution while traveling to prevent similar accidents and protect lives.
