The United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) has announced that 4.2 million people in Afghanistan are in urgent need of shelter and non-food items this year.
N-Habitat shared the information on its X account, emphasizing that adequate housing is the first step toward a stable future and that immediate action to address this need cannot be delayed.
The agency added that providing proper shelter is essential for achieving a stable Afghanistan and called for swift intervention.
