The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation (MoRR) has said that around 345 Afghan refugees have been released from prisons in Pakistan and returned to their homeland.
In a statement, the ministry said the Afghan migrants had been freed from various jails across the neighbouring country and subsequently repatriated to Afghanistan.
Quoting the Refugee Transfer Department at the Spin Boldak crossing in southern Kandahar province, the statement added that the individuals had been detained in different parts of Pakistan and had spent up to two months in custody.
