Veteran leg-spinner and Afghanistan T20I captain Rashid Khan has returned to the top position in the International Cricket Council (ICC) Men’s ODI bowling rankings, while star all-rounder Azmatullah Omarzai claimed the No.1 spot among all-rounders.
Experienced Mohammad Nabi is placed third in the all-rounders’ rankings.
According to ICC, Rashid Khan currently leads the ODI bowlers’ rankings for 2025 with 710 points. England’s fast bowler Jofra Archer is ranked second, followed by India’s spinner Kuldeep Yadav in third place. Rashid Khan had also finished 2024 as the leading ODI bowler.
It said Azmatullah Omarzai tops the all-rounders’ rankings, with Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza in second place. Mohammad Nabi ranks third, while Rashid Khan is placed fifth among all-rounders.
