The seventh meeting of the European Union and Central Asian countries’ special envoys on Afghanistan has been held in Brussels, Belgium.
In a post on X, the EU Special Representative for Central Asia (EUSR) wrote: “7th EU-Central Asia Special Representatives/Envoys for Afghanistan kicked off in Brussels, co-hosted by EUSR Stiprais and EUSE.”
The meeting included productive exchanges with representatives from Slovenia, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan, providing valuable regional perspectives to support joint efforts on Afghanistan.
Participants highlighted the importance of a unified regional approach toward Afghanistan and stressed the need to enhance coordination and cooperation among regional partners.
