Pakistan and Iran forcibly expelled more than 10,000 Afghan refugees yesterday, an official said on Friday.
Hamdullah Fitrat, the deputy spokesman for the Islamic Emirate, wrote on his X-Page today that 1687 families, totaling over ten thousand people, were forcibly returned from Iran and Pakistan through various ports of the country yesterday (Thursday).
He added that among these returned refugees, 1625 families, totaling 8,765 people, were transferred to their areas and 1,361 were assisted.
He said that 1,235 SIM cards of telecommunication networks were also distributed to the refugees.
