At least 14 people were killed, including three journalists, in Israeli airstrike on a hospital in southern Gaza on Monday, a media report said.
These four journalists were killed in the Israeli attack on Nasser Hospital, Al Jazeera reported.
A statement from the Palestinian Media Office noted: “With the confirmation of deaths of four journalists in the attack, the total number of media causalities has risen to 244.”
The journalists identified as Hossam al-Masri – photojournalist with Reuters news agency, Mohammed Salama – photojournalist with Al Jazeera, Mariam Abu Daqa – journalist with several media outlets including The Independent Arabic and Associated Press and Moaz Abu Taha – journalist with NBC network.
Earlier, Al Jazeera’s well-known journalist Ansa al-Sharif, along with his four colleagues, had been killed in Israeli attack on a tent in Gaza.
