Afghan MMA fighter Baz Mohammad Mubariz is set to make his professional Muay Thai debut on August 24 in Phuket, Thailand.
Mubariz will face Bahraini athlete Mustafa, an Iranian-born fighter with extensive Muay Thai experience.
The three-round bout, with each round lasting three minutes, marks Mubariz’s first appearance in the discipline after a career focused on mixed martial arts.
In recent days, videos of Mubariz’s intensive training sessions have been circulating on social media, showcasing his preparation and determination ahead of the contest.
Mubariz has competed in 17 professional MMA fights, securing 11 wins and suffering six losses. His opponent, Mustafa, brings considerable Muay Thai expertise to the ring.
