Six members of a family have been killed in a traffic accident on the Kandahar-Herat highway in southern Helmand province.
Gul Ahmad, an eyewitness and driver, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the accident occurred in the Shorab area of Washir district late on Friday.
He said the collision involved a car and a truck, resulting in the deaths of six family members, including a man, two women, and three children.
Local officials have yet to provide information about the accident.
