Freed from jails in Pakistan, 91 Afghan nationals have arrived homeland via the Torkham crossing, the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation (MoRR) said on Thursday.
In a statement, MoRR said the freed individuals spent two to three month in the Haji Camp prison. They were released as a result of efforts by Afghan officials.
“The Afghans had been detained for lack of legal documents,” the statement said.
The returning Afghans were transferred to their native areas after being given assistance, the ministry added.
